Things that Used to Keep Me Busy
¶ Road Trip 2002 - After graduating from college, Corin, Ogden, and I spent 43 days driving across the US and Canada. I brought my laptop and digital camera along and updated this web site as we travelled.
¶ Automated Community Bike Project - My Hampshire Division III (similar to a senior thesis) was the development of an automated community bike program. I've also created the CommunityBike.org website in order to centralize information about community bike programs.
¶ Grep - While a student at Hampshire College, I implemented various IT related services. All services initially ran off my personal server in my dorm room. I integrated these services into an intranet called grep. When I left Hampshire, I turned over grep to the IT department. They have updated sections and killed off others.
¶ Hampshire Weather Station - While at Hampshire College I developed a web front-end for displaying data from the weather station.
¶ Hampshire Wireless - While a student at Hampshire, I started the Hampshire Wireless project. I raised money and installed wireless access points around campus. By the time I left, nearly all hang outs were covered with 802.11b wireless access.
¶ Five College Network - A central, on-line location for five college groups and activites to colaborate.
¶ Hampshire Mac User Group - Founder of Macintosh user group for the Hampshire and Five College community.
¶ Hampshire Linux User Group - Co-founder of the Five College Linux User Group.

¶ Solitude - Project to build an "independent entity" that does "something" and relies on no outside intervention. I know that doesn't make sense. Read on for clarification.
¶ Project Windmill - A solitude project to power a wireless web server using Hampshire College's windmill.
