Grep: Hampshire College Intranet

While a student at Hampshire College, I implemented various IT related services. All services initially ran off my personal server in my dorm room. I integrated these services into an intranet called grep. When I left Hampshire, I turned grep over to the IT department. They have updated sections and killed others. The below links, are examples of the services as they existed while I was at Hampshire.

Grep Services that I Implemented

News, announcements, etc. - The main "portal" section of the site.
WebMail - A web based email client for the Hampshire community implemented using the open source project IMP.
Photo Gallery - I took hundreds of photos of Hampshire while a student. These photos were posted regularly to the Grep Gallery for public viewing. Many of these photos are now used (without my permission) on the official Hampshire College website.
Facebook Directory - Student, Faculty, and Staff directory - A web based Hampshire directory. Images and more available data were available from on-campus.
On-Line Course Catalog - I created Hampshire's first generation database driven web-based course catalog. It was fully searchable by Instructor, time, etc.
